Top 5 Facts About India  ( that you've never listened of !)

India is country of a great cultural environment and having great diversity .

Being the 7th most largest country area wise and 2nd most populated country with over 1.3 billion people's.

India is well known in world by its Tricolour Flag.
India is a land full of surprises in each and every new place you go.

There are a vast variety of food to choose from, places to visit like Taj of Agra , Char Minar in Delhi, Ghats of Varanasi and the list goes on...

So, In this compilation I am going to list some rare facts about my country that most of you probably didn't listened about.

1. The floating post-office in Jammu & Kashmir.

The first of its type in country.

This floating post office is situated on the Dal Lake, Srinagar. It's an actual working Indian postal service boat . 

This is a new place of attraction for the tourists in Jammu & Kashmir.

2. Varanasi. ( Kashi )

One of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and Oldest in India.

It's popularly know for it's holyness full of temples in cities with narrow paths .

Ghats of Varanasi are most famous of them all.

3. India's first rocket was brought on a Cycle and a Satellite on Bullock cart.

4. Magnetic Hill ,Ladakh , India.

Magnetic Hill is a gravity hill located near Leh in Ladakh , India.

The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill.

5. First Granite Temple of the world.

The Brihadeswara Temple is situated in Tamil Nadu.

It was built during the 11th century, & took only five years to complete it.
